that's now I believe 11 straight seasons we've been in the toughest league (by average rank end of season) in-tier... that's what you call a "bad draw". There is no situation where I would ever feel bad for another team for their playoff draw.

Basically the league is a best of three series between Madison and Logzilla.

Same thing is happening to FSM playing #7 Winnepeg in the first round. It happens. This difference is that if you win that game you are playing against a team ranked in the late teens in the final.

FSM or Winnepeg is going to come out of their match having to play GA.

Not really.

FSM is #1 team playing #3 instead of 4. Madison is #1 team playing #2 instead of 4. It's exactly why Madison or Logzilla gets an "easy" opponent in the final, because the #2 team is not in a different game like with FSM. Basically, the semi game is the final, whereas Diamond is going to have a "real" final.
