Hi all,

I've been a general manager for my team for a few seasons and I've had full control with my owner just logging in once a week to check on the games. We've been very competitive in our tier.

The owner went inactive yesterday and in our match today, the depth charts were malfunctioning completely. I still had them loaded, it still shows that the depth charts were used during the game, however they obviously were not functioning. My kickoff specialist did nothing, my special teamers were used heavily on offense and defense, my sack artists were lining up at ILB for coverage, etc.

I can understand that an owner going inactive can lead to auto-signed players never being rotated into the depth chart and this being a mechanic to prevent this. However our team has a full coaching staff with depth charts still loaded for each game. We have no chance to win the league title with our depth charts functioning like a CPU team.

I hope this can be changed or we just have to throw in the towel on our team and disappoint 20+ agents/coaches who have been working very hard.

P.S. My playbooks and tactics worked perfectly. It was only the depth charts (which are set on the team page rather than your personal home page) which
malfunctioned.

Playbooks/Tactics still work fine with an inactive owner. Depth charts do not.

I don't know why there isn't a good FAQ for GLB2, this type of question would be perfect for it.
