Why are you trying those kinds of field goals in Rookie?

why not? he's made 10 40-49 yarders (including scrims).

and generally - I'm confident in the defense. A chance for 3 points (even if it is only 30%) is essentially still worth 1 point. The flip side is generally punting into the end zone.

So chance for 3 points...or 15-20 yards of field position. I'll take the chance.

He beat me with 3 FG's, two of which were kicked from 45 and 49 yards out. It can happen.
