Alright ladies, I understand that we all still have some cpu mixed teams in our league. However, that doesn't mean we wont have fun this year.
Check out this week picks!
Game of the Week!
Rocky Mountain Blazers vs Orlando Sharks
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/1551/1550
- Off the back im going to pull for the Rocky Mountain Blazers. They are off to a "blazing" hot start this season having the top spot in total points scored and and total defense. That front 7 will be dangerous and the pressure will be put on from the start. Unless Sharks QB Thomas Woodson puts on a show I really don't see the blazers becoming the "shark bait". This weeks pick: Rocky Mountain Blazers
River City Ransom vs Orlando Warriors
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/1549/1552
- Both teams started off with a big let down at 0-1. Which team will prove its more hungry? Orlando is having a rough time passing and running the ball so its not fight to bring unless proven wrong. River City's seemigly balanced offense should keep them alive in a possible low scoring game. I just can't see Orlando scoring much and you can't waste possesions in glb2. This weeks pick: River City Ransom
Santiago Sharks vs Eugene Dogs
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/1555/1554
- Santiago has been steamrolling with their patented running offense that obviously tough to contain. Eugene Dogs are ranked 3rd in rushing defense. This should be interesting. I believe that Santiago will pull a few "lucky" big gains that will presumably put them over the edge this week. Eugene is average at best and I don't see it being a close game at all. That being said those Sharks will run Eugene "Dog" tired. This weeks pick: Santiago Sharks
Detroit Lions vs Irish Rovers
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/1553/1556
- Detroit's passing attack is volatile. 2nd in passing yards and 3rd in points scored. Irish Rovers have the 2nd best pass defense and thhat has to be a fluke that will be exposed. Can't really say much more. QB B. Dantalion will roar the passing game and score decent enough to win comfortably and the Irish haven't found the 4 leaf clover just yet this season. This weeks pick: Detroit Lions.
Hartford Cows vs Calumet City Chargers
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/1560/1559
- If CCC were a full pass team then I would give it an easy ok by default. However Hartford is 3rd in running defense which i think is a fluke. Hartford doesn't really have a convincing offense to me and I see that the chargers will be on full battery come game time and will outlast the cows in a fight. Point of the story...Hartford doesn't have enough calcium to milk away the win. This week pick: Calumet City Chargers
Medicine Hat Eagles vs San Fransisco Vipers
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/1558/1557
- Both teams are look to remain undefeated in week 3. However, only 1 team can win when two teams take the field. The Eagles have proven that they can at least get into field goal position which may help them out but have not been able to score the big 7 as much. Going against a dedicated passing team is tough in general and those Eagles haven't been showing up for the "flight". QB Tyreke Thomas will drop so many dimes that he will need a new contract at season's end. This weeks pick: San Fransisco Vipers
