This is correct. I appears that max is only used at the end of each half.

So then in order to try a 60 yard FG with 2 min 1 sec left when I am down by 1, I have to try 60 yard field goals in the 1st quarter. Thats flawed, safe/FG range should be able to be adjusted for each page of offensive tactics and max should be done away with.

Not true, my team punted at the end of the championship game on what would have been a 44 yd FG. I have the max setting at 48

That's a bug. Still doesn't take away from what I was saying. Max setting only comes into play at the end of each half. If you said, "not true, my kicker kicked from max setting in the 3rd quarter", then what you were saying would make sense. Otherwise, you are just whining.

I don't care about the game. We lost because I didn't choose good plays and as a result we didn't score until the 4th Quarter. I never blamed the loss on that bug. Our FG Kicker sucks anyway I'm sure he would have missed it. You stated something as fact, but as long as that bug is around it's not true. That is all I was trying to convey

I said it only comes into play at the end of each half, I didn't say it always comes into play at the end of each half. Most players don't know when the max settings kick in. It's good to know that they almost never kick in, which is what I was conveying.

Good to know, I'm telling my kickers to pump Power early on in builds to avoid situations like this.

I had the same issue in my championship game at the end of the 1st half... And guess what... We lost by two :/

Not sure why max didn't come into play
