They were both either Combo or Power, I've tried both without much difference. The biggest difference between those 2 is that Drummond has 20 less Snap Reaction and 20 more Quickness so I think we may have wrong assumptions that Snap Awareness doesn't play a part in this.

If you haven't tried evasive, you should. It looks better when they're swinging wide IMO. Less of a hitch and they clear the backpedaling guard better.

Basically, they're the old evasive DE pass rush that used to work pretty well in lower tiers, except with a perfect jump on the snap that can get them to the QB from tick 30-32 mostly uncontested.

EDIT: Looks like I got that totally backwards...

Not yet, I'll run some tests later with it. This defense isn't too bad for a team like mine who has a terrible pass defense, but you have to have a lot of luck to pull it off successfully. I'm pretty much counting on overthrows from pressure, drops from running zone(no clue why this happens but it does), and forced fumbles from my guys cleaning up at the end.

Counting on overthrows from pressure and drops/KLs with a 95+ run bar type defense was a good plan last year. It doesn't surprise me it's still a good plan this year.

I think there are both things we could have done better... you guys will do some serious damage this season in vet. Any top team that overlooks you will be making a giant mistake.

I think we'll give running teams everything they can handle, passing teams I'm not 100% sure we have an answer for. Our next 2 league games will be pretty big for us.

yea I think this will be the first season in the last 4 or so that we'll have to adjust our offensive tactics game-to-game.... running was a waste of time against you, and there were a few things I noticed during scrims I should have taken more advantage of during the game. Looking forward to another tight game whenever we play again.
