Hey newer guy here. How much Stam is really required to be a pocket passing qb? Like bare minimum stam to be effective for a game. Thanks in advance for any advice!

"a lot" by the end but for now you're trying to figure how much is useful at all. Do you have two QBs or one? Is your QB a runner? Are you run first? All these things matter but in rookie you should be aiming for at least 30. (under the assumption that like many rookie teams you have two QBs where one plays less than the other.) All in all, just watch him 4th quarter. See some others.

Thanks guys! I'm in a developmental league for now, but both the long and short term for conditioning were things I didn't know much about. I know this is off topic here, but wow thats alot of players there Xars. Has to be an incredible amount of time invested in this game. Not to mention money invested...

One more question about QB stamina: How exactly does it affect QBs? Does it create a worse pass, creating more drops? Slower footwork and speed seems obvious but I'm not sure how it affects a pass. Any thoughts on that?

Nobody knows for sure other than it impacts multiple skills or maybe all of them. Same with morale. The amount of impact hasn't ever been shared by the developers. It is significant though. You're much better off with 100/100 energy/morale than you are with 1/1 energy morale.

I suppose the best way to figure that out would be to make 2 identical qbs, other than stamina, and have them split time on the same team? Seems like a good cluster study. I realize no 2 plays are the same but overall numbers, by the end of the season, should shed some light on that. Could possibly do the same for morale?

The issue with that would be you'd end up with a ton of plays on the high conditioning build, and very few plays on the low conditioning build.
When there's a discrepancy amongst players at the same position, it impacts the play distribution between the players. The better conditioned player will routinely have more energy, and he'll get the nod from the depth chart most of the time.
