Overall I think 3rd Down Stopper is better for coverage LBs.

Not first step. Ditto to the above especially considering the new plays that would benefit coverage LBs using zone abilities. If so, go as Lokiness says. If I was choosing Id pick 3rd down stopper figuring that I wouldn't have to worry about building into it to make it useful despite it being pretty good.
