The desire: I do not want to use the prevent tactics whatsoever. I want to continue running my regular defense and tactics during the enemy offense's two minute drills.

The failed attempt: I figured if I left all the prevent tactics at zero, it would not use the prevent lines whatsoever and revert to the regular tactics for that down, distance and offensive set. This is not the case, if I leave everything at zero it just selects a random play out of the playbook for the offensive set. It does not revert back to the regular tactics from the previous page for down and distance.

The problem: This is an issue as I have an inside run play (Middle Overload) in almost all of my defensive sets to use during short yardage situations from any set. It only triggers in short yardage situation as intended *EXCEPT* during the opponents two minute drills when it could trigger on any down and distance. It is calling a random play based on set from my playbook, but it ignores down and distance tactics.

This of course leads to me calling Middle Overload multiple times during an opponents two minute drill where they are likely passing heavily or rushing to the outside. I simply do not want to use the "Prevent" tactics at all unless I can choose different prevent tactics for each down and distance like I already have with my normal defensive tactics.

I shouldn't be forced into using a weaker and less sophisticated set of tactics during the two minute drill.

That's because you used all zeros.

Instead, use something like 50 Pass Short & 50 Pass Med. These should be your basic down and distance plays.

Just having something in both or either of these two categories prevent MO from firing.

I'd still want MO to fire only in short yardage situations during the two minute drill, like it does the rest of the game.

This solution is forcing me into a weaker and less sophisticated set of tactics. It forces me to use one line of tactics for every single play regardless of down and distance for the final minutes of the game or half. I know that I can just run Pass defense plays for this period but that put my defense in pass defense on second and inches or third and inches, yielding a free and easy first down. It doesn't allow me to only blitz on third downs while playing coverage on first and second down, etc.

The issue is that the prevent lines take priority over all the other lines and I simply don't want to use it at all. It is weaker than the regular game tactics significantly.
