The average team does exactly what you suggest. They build a team with S* spread across multiple positions. Specialized teams, however, don't. Air Raid got significantly better when they added more S* WRs. Queen City will be a monster when their S* HBs get over early chem issues. If Air Raid only had 1 S* WR and a S* TE they'd still be very good, but not as good as they are today.

Its a good fix to rack the salaries. Would Barry Sanders have wanted to backup Emmitt Smith (or vice - versa?) Maybe but not without a significant payday.

Maybe Dez Bryant would want to work opposite Jeremy Maclin, but would Demaryius Thomas want to join them?

I think a S* Rushing QB is a total waste. Far too much salary tied up in a gimmick that can be shutdown. Better off taking a S* C, G, and OT, all of which would cost about as much as the QB. You can force the defense to play the QB to open up the middle of the field and backside Offtackle stuff whether the QB is a S* or not.

This is true, which would make it more beneficial to run a run only offense rather than pass only.

With the way the league works now Emmitt Smith would probably be sharing half his carries anyways.

Demaryius Thomas already is joined by 2 elite WR's and an elite TE.

J Thomas is not elite. Neither is Welker. I'm not sure everyone would call Sanders elite either.

You lost me at J Thomas not being elite. You are out of your element here.

Then again you are also still trying to claim Seattle as a top 5 offense in the NFL.

I love the broncos with all of my heart, but who are the 3 elite receivers? Emmanel Sanders and Wes Welker? Emmanuel showed he can be really good, and Welker is not who he was before. Demaryius is the only elite receiver on the broncos.

As for Julius, he's not elite either. He can't even finish a full season.

Welker isn't elite, he had elite QB's throwing to him, with Brady and Manning, Thomas and Sanders are not elite, Sanders wasn't that great in Pittsburgh with Rapesaburger throwing to him.
