Looking for some input on my DT - http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/97711

Undecided what to do with the SA's I have available. Considering working up Pass rush power and adding tunnel vision.

What is his main duty? Pass rush or run? I would max out Hold Ground if he is a run stuffer and Gold Unstoppable Force.

Run stuffer for sure but thought I'd have the room to expand his build some.

Honestly you should increase your tackling skills by 10+ each.

SP wise, load up on PRT + Footwork and get gold Spin Cycle.

If you're looking for a critique, I'll provide one. Please don't shoot the messenger. Overall, you have a good build, but it could have been optimized better.

You have 85 Break Run Block and GOLD Shed Block. Those are great, but you built your Attributes with Strength 10 and Agility 7, yet invested your SP and SA's into a Tech (Agility) based skill. 10 Agility and 7 Str may have been better??? (Ok, it would have been better.)

S* DT should follow the Peter Griffin build. ie Your a Combo DT (with high values for both). That allows your Owner/DC/etc., to recruit a dedicated non-S* Run DT and Pass DT to pay with you based on Down and Distance/ situation.

I'd max Pass Rush Tech to 62, max Conditioning to 57, take Heart to 50, Footwork to max and GOLD Spin Cycle like Kayoh said. I'd use your Caps on Pass Rush Tech.

Yeah. Honestly though, with the 62/65 caps on PRT/Fwk, I don't think this DT will ever be a great pass rusher. You can get him to the point where he'll get a coverage sack here and there, but he'll never be on the same level as Griffin. Work on maxing out his run block breaking ability (BRB/HG) and his ability to actually stop the run (tackling skills) and maybe get some mobility on him (sprinting/quickness/pursuit) and he can be a damn fine run defender.

If he can cap PRT at 77, then he'll be good and can be paired with a pure Pass DT to be effective. If he can't or the Owner/DC can't build around him, then yes I agree he should go for more Run Stuffage.

In short, you have to match build with scheme and roster. So talk with your DC.
