You've just cracked 100+ yards per game (finally). You need Heart badly (26 sucks). Your build would have been drastically better if you had gone Egotist over Workhorse, considering your SP investment in Physicals. Your Snap Reaction is too low relative to your Quick and Sprint.

Here's the Shifty WR Build that leads all GLB2 WRs in Yards (331 per game) and TDs (30 in 9): http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/97220

I like how you compared a WR on a balanced offense to one on an exclusively passing offense by straight stats (yards/tds).
Mine catches more of his targets than the one you linked, and gets more YAC, more TD's per target and more yards per reception.

But then again we're comparing WR's that aren't even in the same level class so it's all moot anyways. The only build that matters is the end build and how they stack up at veteran. Once mine hits Vet you can tear into it all you want, and once the one you linked hits vet we can compare stats and efficiency.

Also if I went Egotist over Workhorse I probably wouldn't have had a 55 cap in conditioning (before cap boosters) with 2 stamina (would be at 33 conditioning instead).

I'm curious how my WR would fare on an all passing team. Believe it or not Season 6 and 7 were spent on CPU teams. Had 0 cares and the team he was created for folded and the 2nd team I committed to folded as well. Would've been nice to see how he fared at lower levels with human passers and play-callers, but oh well. GLB2 doesn't really hold my interest in the same way GLB1 did.

this is a terrible way to view this game. It isn't GLB Classic, you can be competitive at every level without sacrificing your endgame build.

fwiw...

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/87769

is an rTE that went unemployed this season and wound up on a cpu team

evidently you don't want to do this

he's headed for the scrap heap so I can get my free player back

also...

comparing stats is useless for player builds. stats are 99.8% reliant on scheme.

when creating a player, the first step is to find a team that's going to do what you'd like with your player

then you tailor your build to stay in the good graces of that team

you could build something completely bass ackwards and still get good stats if you're on the right team

and lastly...

don't get caught up in the veteran build thing... but you also can't compare apples and oranges

I almost send him a contract last offseason, but I couldn't get enough room in the salary cap without butchering the team.

I think some Vet teams might be interested, he is nicely built.

"was unable to secure the ball due to nearby defense"
Is this problem overcome with Catch In Traffic? Or is this just because the player isn't getting open? Maybe more speed or route elusiveness?

Catch in traffic and receiving consistency will help you catch the ball when defenders are near.

Either build up those skills, or focus on getting more separation from the defender. It's directly caused by the defender being close and I'd imagine the deflecting skill has an affect on whether the defender makes the wr unable to secure the ball.
