This is a rough early-stage roster and gameplan of tactics/builds. The team will reset for S9, AS WELL as S10, and after that will advance to higher leagues for S11. I promote a relaxed, fun-loving football environment. I won't tolerate trolls or jerkfaces. Any participating agents should be active in our forums.
If you're interested in a staff/management position, please contact me. Experience and investment in players is encouraged.
If you see a roster spot you're interested in that is taken, please contact me directly or post here. Obviously I will favor superstars and boosters at player positions.
If you would simply like to fill in blank roster spots towards the end of the offseason, please contact me or post here and I will put you on a list and keep you updated.
Here is some cool things I intend on implementing this upcoming season:
--Game-by-game reviews with brief analysis.
(I would like to split this duty with someone on the staff. One takes season games, one takes ladder. Until someone volunteers, I will do both.)
--Game balls: Recognition to any player that contributed significantly to a win.
--Game MVPs: (Offense, Defense, Special Teams)
--Player coaching opportunities.
(I might let you guys come up with our red zone offensive/defensive exploit plays. Please come with viable ideas that fit our schemes and I'll send it down the pipeline.) This requires scouting of opponents and tactics adjustments game-by-game.
--Franchise Record Books:
(Cool thing I did for old GLB1 teams. We will immortalize players with franchise records such as most yards in a game, touchdowns, sacks, etc., as well as season records and a hall of fame of sorts.)
I intend on making this a fun, engaging, active team if at all possible. Here is the current roster and I will edit it as the offseason approaches.
Team Management:
GM - djn11
Asst GM - Vacant (DUTIES: Assisting djn in recruiting, staffing, and general team activities. Also, be a cool guy/gal.)
Head Coach - Vacant (MrWilliford may fill this role if allout is unable to continue gameplanning and we find no one else to fill the OC spot immediately. GET BETTER allout! <3)
OC - Allout (Pending Non-Football Injury Status)
Asst OC - Vacant (DUTIES: Assist the OC in all offensive management, recruiting prospects, adjusting depth, scouting, etc.)
DC - MrWilliford
Asst DC - Vacant (DUTIES: Assist the DC in all offensive management, recruiting prospects, adjusting depth, scouting, etc.)
S. Teams Coach - Vacant
Asst. STC - Vacant (DUTIES: Assist the STC in all special teams management, recruiting prospects, adjusting depth, scouting, etc.)
Recruiter - Vacant (DUTIES: Bring in awesome folks.
)

Offense:
Not sure I wanna call it west coast, balanced, run favored or what.
My plan is to use minimal passing early in the season, building up quickness and base stats for players. We will use heavy exploit QB rollouts and outside sweeps/off tackle plays early season (I will be building 1-2 blocking/posession WR's for this, as well as pull-specialist/TECH base G's and OT's, + Lead blocking FB.) I would call us a "heavy run" offense at this point.
Then once rushing QB's reach 25 quickness with some footwork, they will add pass tech and awareness. This should allow them to use dump screens and short to intermediate passes, not to mention scramble out of 3+ WR sets. Just so long as our receivers can catch, we'll be alright. By the time we hit mid season, we should have a versatile offense capable of doing just about anything. Our builds have to compliment our style and if you look at what I've done here I think you'll agree they will.
QB (HYBRID QCK/PTCH/FTWK/PAWR) -
Workhorse, Quick Feet, Scrambler(Could sub Workhorse if we carry two.)
POSSIBLE BACKUP TYPE: Dual-threat, Quick Feet, Field General (may be safer option, as opposed to explosiveness)
Not sure if we'll carry both. Anyone have opinions? I feel the first type would be a rollout freak, but would take longer to be viable in real passing aside from screens. That could be okay though.
1: JRex (Unless someone else wants it and will boost and work closely with coordinators.)
2: ONLY boosting/active agent considered.
HB (Hybrid Rush/Scat) -
Rusher, Unpredictable, Soft Hands
I think this will give the back the ability to truly serve both roles. Could substitute soft hands with early bloomer and get the extra %5 to all stats. We could then more easily dump points into some spare blocking stats (for rollouts and pass protection).
POSSIBLE BACKUP TYPE: Heavier, power rush type. Could still hybrid scat. I hear the possession backs work well.
1: JRex
2: ONLY boosting/active agent considered.
FB (Hybrid Scat/Blocker)
QCK/LEAD BLK!!!/All blk stats, rush tech especially/balance/hands.
Lead Blocker, Consistent Blocker, Strong Base, Soft Hands
Balance is the key here. Lead blocker gives 10% to all blocking type stats for the most part, including pass blocking. Balance is super important for screens (makes it so they don't effin' fall over every dang time). It also helps with all blocking rolls I believe. Mix that with pancake chef and catch in stride late, you've got a mean little FB. The receiving stuff wouldn't happen until late season. Could exchange strong base with something more receiving related, or quick feet.
POSSIBLE BACK UP TYPE: Pure lead blocker.
1: JRex
OT's: (2-4) TECH HYBRIDS (LEAD BLK, PTECH, RTECH)
Technical Blocker, Tactician, Early Bloomer/Consistent Blocker
Will use lead block SA, pumping all tech blocking and lead blocking. CND, TGH, SNP Reaction all help.
POSSIBLE BACK UP TYPE: Pure Pass Protect. OT's give up the most sacks. Would like to have 2 of each.
1: JRex
2: JRex

4:
G's: (2-4) SEE OFFENSIVE TACKLES. -
1: JRex
2: JRex
3:
4:
C: (1-2) Pure Power Type. -
We may mix in some up-the gut plays. Centers don't seem to give up sacks regardless if they have any pass protect stats. Balance, intimidation, run tech here. Haven't figured out the best build yet. Shoot me idea.
1:
2:
Offensive line note in general: I feel as if having a power run side and a tech side isn't a bad idea. This makes things trickier so I might avoid it.
But when it comes to gameplanning the style I have proposed, we can definitely favor our rollouts/screens/outside pulling blocks to one side, and put our pass protectors on their most dangerous blitzing side. This is what good teams do. All about matchups.
TE's: HYBRID POSS/BLOCK -
Blocking Specialist, Soft Hands, Early Bloomer
Focusing on blocking first, balance, quickness. Could replace bloomer with quick feet. Could also run pure blocking types and pure receiving types, sprinkling them into mild hybrid and hoping they get called in the right plays. Not sure on this one yet, but having blocking TE's are huge for outside running.
1: JRex
2:
WR's: Mixed bag, I like all types. -
1: (Blocking/Poss) JRex
2: (Blocking/Poss) JRex
3: (Slot) Jrex

Defense:
MrWilliford's Super Secret 3-4. Outside blitzing from OLB's, power D-line, with man coverage at CB, flex at safety.
NT* (Balanced/Lean Run) -
1: JRex
Going to make sure I have a superstar at this positon.
DT (Balanced) Brick Wall, Crusher, Dreadnought -
1:
DE's: (Power Run Stuffer SEE NT/DT) -
Very little pass tech. If anything, pass power. LOTS of hold ground, brk run blk, intimidation, etc. Must choose power pass rush type in tactics, very important.
1:
2:
3:
4:
ILB's: (Coverage/Big Hitters) -
>!!!Middle Man!!!<, Quick Feet, Coverage LB, Chase Down Artist, Workhorse, >!!!Flex Coverage!!!<
Need to be able to work well in basic coverage. Wouldn't mind them being big tall bangers too. Middle Man is good.
Tall types, heavy.
1:
2:
3:
4:
OLB's: (Pure Blitzers) -
Blitzer, Lightning Reflexes, Quick Feet, Chase Down Artist
1: JRex
2: Jrex
3: MrWilliford
4:
CB's: (PURE MAN COVERAGE TYPES!!!) -
Man Specialist, Shutdown Defender, Workhorse
If we don't have at least 6 corners, we need workhorse. Might allow for one superstar CB to serve as a ballhawk/returner. Means low coverage tech (so he gets thrown at), high awareness, SUPER high SPD/AGL/BAL, plus return awareness. There would be only one of this type of corner. Rest are STRICTLY MAN AWARE/COVERAGE TECH types. Not a lot of SPD, favor QCK.
1*?:
2: JRex
3: JRex
4: MrWilliford
5:
6:
Safeties: (Balanced Flex Coverage Types) -
Flex Coverage, Quick Feet, Shutdown Defender, Chase Down Artist
They need to do it all. Must be flex type, with plenty of pursuit and some blitz awareness also. Coverage tech less important for safeties as CB's imo, but don't neglect it.
POSSIBLE BACKUP TYPE: Two gunners, specifically for special teams play. Could be the #2 backups.
