new here and so confuse but this looks like a very fun game.

Welcome to the game. We're in the middle of the season at this point so finding a permanent home for any players you make could be tricky right now. I suggest you play around with build mechanics, read the forums, ask questions, etc. and be ready to get involved long-term with a team next season.
