I was looking at the ladder this morning, and thought to myself that the top 10 is looking pretty good these days with Romo's team and Brisbane finally sliding out. MMArmy is the one team on the outside that I think is definitely playing top 10 caliber ball.

If when the two defunct teams slide out of the top 15 and get replaced by MMArmy and probably Rusty's Ruins, that's going to be a good looking top 15.

I still think BHall's team is going to get a corner turned soon as the chemistry punishment eases up.

Wow. Legacy is top 5 in one of the categories? I'll take it.

I was surprised to see stark in the top 5 with their record but when you look at their schedule we have had one hell of a schedule. Defense has done more than i could ask too.

Mma's ladder rank (21), opponents record (19th) and defensive total yards (17th) are really hurting them.

Ya MMA has had some ladder to chew on thus the perfect record but it'll start evening out soon and good games will be had. I'm a little surprised at being 17th in total yards given up as we are #1 for least points allowed in a monster league and half our games are were vs Harrisonburg, Minnesota Stunners and Cobra Kai. So the total yardage ranking should sky rocket very shortly now that we are through all that noise. But of course, we get 2 of those teams again being division-mates. Oh what joy Monroe is.

MMA is giving up about 387 yards a game compared to stark(salty has a cupcake schedule so far) who's at 299. It comes down to defensive scheme, rob runs a very aggressive defense with a lot of cover 1 and blitzing while I tend to prefer light blitzing and a more mixed coverage scheme. In the end though both teams are top 6 in scoring defense despite the yardage difference.

I've been at 33 for the last 6 or 7 wins, and started at 36 at the beginning of this 11 game streak. Can't really complain because my OppRec is pretty awful. I'd play better teams if I could.
