There should be like a search bar so that newbies like me can find topics related to their questions without having to post a new topic and clog up the forums and bother all the vets.

GLB 2 doesn't have a search forum feature, but you can search GLB 2 threads that you posted in, on GLB http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/search_forum.pl
Search existed in GLB Classic and pretty much killed the servers. The forums can be searched via Google with some success.
