This play and the next one.

That FS and CB in zone ran some pretty great WR routes.

The 2nd play there was a deflection attempt, he just didn't get a good roll. But ya those lob passes have always been stupid and were fotm in season 1+2. Go low pass power, throw long, profit. It's as if the DB's can't compensate the way reception aware can. Man/Zone aware should be buffed, ball hawking should start earlier when thrown long so there's more CIT rolls, pd's, int.

If the pass is off, or coverage is close enough to pick up on the throw and get there, you are fine http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/133521/781590

But the throw has to be a fast throw, which indicates there was only a small window. The long tosses are broken and always have been. It's as if man/zone aware doesn't pick up on the ball when it has height. Reception aware will alwyas clue the receiver in, but the defensive version has a reduced radius of awareness or something, or no z-axis. I dunno.

Probably pretty well, considering he has a 29% catch rate.
