They raised the pass awareness floor and added the rattled mechanic. Passing in rookie works now.

Plus the majority of the community has found plays that work, even if you get ZEB'd all game.

Some teams just do well against others, and some don't. But in a global meta theme I would say defenses are trying to stop the run leaving weak against the pass currently.

I've always thought it was Pass Consistency that people needed more Rookie SP investment than Pass Awareness. I'm guessing the Bort bump in PC is helping more than the PA bump. There have been Rookie QBs with 50 Pass Awareness getting sacked like crazy in the past.

PC description - "The ability to keep calm and not throw bad passes under pressure."

Didn't all you S8 Rookie teams build Pass Defenses with the Meta change?

So much bullshit in here. If anything then passing kinda caught up with running when yu look at the current top rookie teams. There is no overpowereness in any way. In my rookie league, all running teams seem to be the strongest, still.

Dumbest thing I have read so far. You are crying now, that now every middle run is a guaranteed 5 yards? Oh boy. Inside running is still VERY viable and working perfect for me. OFC the DLine buff kinda nerfed it, but in a needed way! It seems way more balanced this season.

Not true at all. Is it a guarenteed gain? No, but Boobs and Knights for eample are still making a life outta it. Its not really worse than last season but still very viable.

I've been looking for feasible ways to do this. Usually comes back that having the depth on defense to run 3 succeful depth charts (PR, RS, Balance) means less s* players or finding ways to make players highly effective as a combo build. And combo builds get more complicated with LB and Safeties. CB I haven't really gotten far at seeing how well they can be done.

Teams are building to stop the run, and it's working. It's incredibly difficult to effectively defend both the pass and the run when you have so few SPs to spread around while teams are building specialized builds to do one or the other.

And last season rookie was easily dominated by the run. Anyone who designed to stop the pass would be gambling. Top 10 rookie last season had what only 2 or 3 teams that weren't 100% run.

Village was never 100% run, plus DWC & 13th.

Right but 13th just climbed into top 10. Seattle, MEM, SoA, WH, HUB, Village (pass favored balance), DWC (pass). There was your top 7 and 5 were pure run. I believe Factory was top 10 but don't recall the other 2 from last season.

13th was 9th when we faced them last season
