First up!
CPU vs Brolo
Boy Brolo doesn't get a chance to breath do they? Their first game out of their new division is the #2 team from season 7. CPU. So far this season CPU is rocking the #3 total offense and #2 passing offense and #3 points scored in the league. Not bad as the closest to a balance offense among the top 3 as you will see haha. CPU isn't all offense though. Nope they have the #6 defense which is mediocre however it is the #3 rush defense against Brolo strength which is their run ranked 5th compared to their 10th ranked pass. CPU is also 3rd in points allowed while Brolo is 11th in scoring. Not adding up to a good game for the boys from Brolo. I'm taking CPU by 24.
Cincinnati Massacre vs TriCity Vikings
CM is 0-3 as a cpu team and half a roster. TriCity needs the win to keep pace with the Flames. TriCity by 13.
Dead World Cerbi vs Albuquerque Flames
Flames have done a good job so far by putting them in a 3way tie at 2-1 going into a dangerous 8 game span. Tied with Brolo and Montana Massacre for the 4th overall spot in league but like Brolo the schedule isnt easy coming out of division on their first game. The Flames are up against the defending league champion Dead World Cerberi. They have had 3 league games to watch coming in and have a better idea then Kentucky in their first time seeing DWC. DWC comes in though with the #1 total offense, #1 passing offense, #1 scoring offense, #1 total defense and #1 points against defense. The Flames do come in with the #1 run defense. And will still have the #1 run defense after this game as DWC doesn't run. The Flames though have given up the most passing yards in the league at just over 300 yards a game. Will this be enough to stop DWC who are averaging almost 600 yards passing a game? I commend the Flames for being 2-1 so far. However its strength vs weakness and I see MVP hopeful Alex going 550+ and 5 touchdowns. DWC by 30.
Kentucky vs Juggs
Kentucky has had it rough coming into the league. Starting out 1-2. So they go out and get a new OC. Will this help them change things in time to make a playoff push? This is the most dangerous 8 weeks on the schedule for them. If they can beat the Juggs and get to 2-2 they could find themselves in a 6 way tie for 4th place and put their destiny back in their own hands. The Juggs though are last season wildcard and have filled their defensive roster despite the hardships. They still have holes on the offensive side to fill but also still have last season MVP candidate Cali Buds as well. I think Kentucky does it though as the new OC specializes in Balanced offense with his own top 5 team the Hornets. Kentucky by 21.
Oakland Dream vs San Jose Sharks
San Jose gets a gift with the cpu team to balance their record at 2-2 as they pray to see all 2-1 teams fall to 2-2. San Jose by 17.
M&M vs Fapp Fapp
The Fappeners are at it again sporting the best running attack in the league. Ah ah ah didn't say the magic word is still chasing after his second MVP award and the Fapp are 3-0. As much as I like M&M this is a tough game. M&M does come in with the 4th offense and 4th against the run defense. Is it enough to change their stars ala Knights Tale? Personally I hope so only because any loss to Fappeners makes my job easier haha. I do think M&M will do better then next year but ATM The Fapp are still just too strong. Fapp by 17.
So after first round outside of division I'm looking at 3 4-0 teams. 3 0-4 teams. And 6 teams needing every win they can to fight for playoffs. Till next time!!
