Granted they could have just said "until day 5" but people not being able to count to six is hardly their fault.

Why is there a "Day 0" for the season anyway? Just have offseason, maybe a preseason but season is season, so there cant be a day 0 from my pov.
Anyway, you are totally right. As I said in the OP, I only remebered sth with "6" so I tried it. Didnt have that quoted statement from deathblade at that time so I simply took the risk and it failed. Happens, but it should really be put in the FAQ

well that is horse shit. Then I should have dropped the guys I signed towards the end of last season that still are not at 50 this season and just resigned them. HOLE in the system anyone

It was mentioned a few times I think that once the off season begins you can simply send a new contract to anyone under 50 and bring them up to 50 once they sign

Now if they are above 50 rock and roll leave them the alone. GLB always looking out for 1 part of the game and not the WHOLE game...
