Made a rookie player and tried to get a contract and all I get is this:

Sorry, there were no CPU teams found to fit this player.

Do I just sit and wait for a season doing nothing?

You made a HB. HB and qb are always overpopulated. Sadly it appears the gage of interest during creation might be off or the open spots are on teams that must send the contract.

If you dead set on a HB you can try posting in looking for team forums.

Now when you made him you clicked of experienced so any team you go to you will be 3 games behind in exp as well.

Or try a different position.

I didn't click off anything...unless it was prechecked somewhere.

Guess I'm used to GLB 1 where you can always get a CPU team to get XP at any time...no CPU teams for a player regardless of position is poor design. I thought the whole selling point Bort made about GLB 2 was you can pick it up at any point of the season, guess he was wrong.

Actually that's not a false statement. You can make a rookie at any point in the season and be equal experience as any other rookie that day. Either you accidentally clicked it off or something because its normally checked and just under the name during player creation.

Just like glb 1 though HB and QB are overpopulated. Least always was back in the day.
