I am playing Logzilla and his DBs are knocking the ball loose left and right against my S* WR. I look at his CBs build, it's open, and he only has 38 power tackling but has 45 strip tech.

He's only got one with that much Strip Tech, the rest are base level. So if it's just that CB knocking balls loose then it's possible. If it's also others knocking it loose then it's probably just a lack of receiving grip.

Yes, it's believed that Strip Tech helps with KLs.

I think you are correct. Zone Shark adds power tackling and strip tech, so that should give us a clue.

Yes it does. I've seen my defense get KLs while the WR was still standing. Defense is highly invested in strip technique as well

Actually, I think it has more to do with where you hit the WR. It seems most times the ball is KL, the WR is turned around facing the QB and the defender pops him right in the chest. This more likely to happen in man to man due to how the defender is guarding him.

Or sometimes, it's after you catch and run for a bit, maybe even breaking a tackle first, and you'd think it'd be a fumble instead when the second guy attempts a tackle, but it's really a KL.

That is a terrible Cover 4. CB1 runs to the sideline instead of running back down field.
