This is a stat I've mostly ignored for the majority GLB2 of and I'm just curious how everyone else feels about diving?

1. Which position do you feel Diving is most effective with? RB - For those extra few yards on the end of a run? WR - Diving catches? Defenders? I could definitely see those touchdown saving diving tackles being useful.

2. How much is enough? Is this something to raise up to around the 30-35 range? Has anyone experimented with running a super high number in the 60s or 70s?

I'm experimenting with diving on a sophomore blitzing linebacker. He occasionally gets a diving sack, but it's pretty rare.

Diving is good for players rushing the QB.

I'd argue diving is useful for anyone on defense. It increases your tackling radius. It also possibly increases your deflection radius and thus your ability to impact a reception from further away similar to how vertical can impact it if you're under the ball's flight path.

That impact on tackling radius exists even if you don't actually see a "dive" animation occur.

This is exactly the answer I was looking for.

Thank you Galithor!
