I think for the defensive part of the box score, Targets and Receptions allowed should be added.

If things need to removed in order to make them fit, I suggest two of the following:
Sticks, Sack Yards, DefTD

Sticks never made sense as a stat unless used to Gage if you need to raise your tackling stat but missed tkl would do the same

If assists are included in total tackles on each player page, then I'd say the order to go is:
Sticks
Sack Yards
and then a coin flip between Assists and DefTD

but since you mentioned adding Targets and Receptions Allowed, hopefully only 2 are needed to be removed and it could be Sticks and Sack Yards.

But if Assists aren't included in the player's bio page in Tackles, then yeah it should be first to go. Is that the case? I either forgot or never did the math.

I like the sticks stat. Id rather see sackyds and deftd go and let sticks... stick... around

Sack yards are useless and defensive TD's can be seen by looking at the scoring summary. I'm not crazy about sticks, but apparently some people like them.

How about a breakout similar to the Receptions section on Offense. Could list the player targets, receptions allowed, yards attributed to those catches, PD, KL, Int could even have room to have a completion allowed % or something. Would be super swell.

I was actually just looking at this. It'd be great to have this, because then you can accurately grade CBs by opposing QB QBR. The stats missing are yardage and touchdowns allowed, but that seems like data that can be collected anyway if the game is already counting targets and receptions allowed.

I also think Sack Yards aren't necessary.
