Does a power HB need Agility at all? Would a base of 6 ok? Or can you go lower?

Agility governs Balance, which is a skill you need to not-fall after hits. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/59970 went with a 6, though, and she's all and all quite decent.

I noticed you raised awareness... how much is that needed and what does it affect?

Certain skills use it to fire (Stiff Arm, Mr Reliable, etc..) otherwise it depends on your playcalling. From what I gathered it comes into play more if you run outside stuff, moreso than inside stuff. I don't know how accurate that is but it would seem to make sense.
