No, you misunderstood what we're talking about. One farm team is not enough to continue cycling players indefinitely - you would need to have multiple teams in various tiers at all times. So each Vet team that is using that style would optimally have 6 teams total, one in every tier. I'm not sure how many seasons you remain active in Vet, but depending on that and how you use career boosts, you could reduce that number, assuming you're going to grab literally every player from the farm team and not cherry pick (which would lead to a less efficient team).

You get 2 seasons at Vet if you bought all of your regular boosts, so in your theory you wouldn't need a team at every tier.
