sure, deevee actually had a guy that was like half and half, and was pretty high up in HoF with my Landers... It worked ok for a while, but to be a truely elite team late game, I don't think it's currently possible.
I think the best build if you're going to do that is basically ignore pocket and pass awareness, and focus on pass accuracy and tech, and go pure sprinting. You'd probably have to ignore elusive running too since it costs so much SP.
