I mean come on now its ridiculous.

Corndog said it was working as intended. But, it is not. I think the marketplace could encourage casuals that don't want to post forum threads and try to network. It would be great service to the game to work on this thing. I've been a GM of a few teams and this is the last place I'll ever go to for players. Which stinks because I know there are players out there on this thing, but I don't have time to sift through it all and try to find active guys.

The best thing an active agent can do is run a few pick up games today so GM's know their player is active. But should it really be all this hard? NOOO.

I mean, this agent has a handful of dudes who haven't played in 2 seasons. Maybe he's actively posting, I dont know. I'd be surprised.

The marketplace looks a lot better at level 20. But it's obvious why.


A quick look at level 5 WR's the first guy I clicked gave me an agent who doesn't appear to have played since January (season 1) http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/home/338338


So, I would never use the marketplace for lower tiers. If I post an ad now, I put the date in the Ad title so people know it's current.

Is this a good place to leave that the search team function is broken, where you look for a team by city or mascot name?

Also, when you look for Min Lvl 0 Max lvl 0 lvl 0 to lvl 1 rookies show up, that you can't sign to your rookie team because they played games.

I don't believe the marketplace or search has worked since they opened the website.

It does help to use the "recently updated" filter when searching for players on the marketplace. Then you just stick to the top 5-10 guys, and they're usually active listings.

This is how I found replacement players in middle of the season

Agreed with Marauder, I've done the same with some success. However I couldn't agree more that inactive owners should simply have their listings taken down. It is nonsensical to keep them up. If you aren't online enough to stay active- no one would want you on their team anyways.
