Even though my team was the beneficiary of whatever the current system is, I agree the above would make more sense. If nothing else, let everyone know how the tie breaker is currently decided.

They've been doing this for almost a decade and they're working on a browser based fighting game. I'm not saying that more can't be done but I can understand wanting to have a life.
