The Devs need to balance the game to reflect real football.

Its out of control now everyone is trying to be successful and make toons/teams that fit the run only, over powered running backs that can break a zillion tackles and still convert on 3rd and 20 by RUNNING the ball.

The same can be said for some passing teams that all they do is pass but at a much much lower level of success.

It is disappointing to see across all the tiers the way the game is heading. Its either you go run only or have no chance at beating those run only teams.

There are way too many advantages in running a power run only team without any penalty. There needs to be some penalty to running the same 5 runs plays the whole game and nothing is affected.

Change the AI, develop a scale strategy to give a bonus to the defense on tackling and anticipating run plays that have been run over and over again. Its SO unrealistic that a team can become a champion without throwing a single pass. I know its just a game but its also a sim and this sim is very unbalanced on all tiers.

This is not Madden. Our toons lack the intelligence needed to play REAL football. Teams who dominate are the ones who build superior talent and simplify their tactic to compliment the games they play in.

Anyone who attempt to treat GLB2 as if it's a realistic simulation of football-

The game will get better, but it will take time. We need to constantly voice our opinions and concerns, other wise the users will continue to be one step ahead of the developers.

A repeat of plays penalty would help solve the cheesy spam plays for both passing and running.

The good news about this sim is: Every team is beatable !!!

i recommended it to corndog once *penalty for the same play* but i think he mentioned it would be too difficult to implement maybe? i have a balanced sophomore theam that moves the ball very well 50/50 play calls and yards ish. However i played a team that destoryed my power backs with his 70-80 power tackling at that level (good adjustment after the run game focus). The ONLY adjustment that could be made in my opinion is to do a penalty on the same play by perhaps increasing the defenses awareness by say 5-10% every time the play is run. It is frustrating but balance can be achieved and i have a feelling next season for my sophomore team they may end up unstoppable. Stunners and my team on here will slowly be caught up to on the defensive side of the ball unless people put all their high level caps elsewhere.

I say at least a bonus to blitz awareness/Man awareness if the offense runs a run/pass more than 5 times in a row, perhaps +5% for 5 plays, +10% for 10 plays in a row, and cap it at +15% for 15 of the same type of play in a row. Not too extreme but enough to help get guys in the right position to make a play

Its as Madden said...You have to build your team according to the way you intend to run it. I'm the GM on a Seasoned team now that is very balanced and were sitting at 17-3 this season. We;ve beat both run teams and pass teams. Wanna beat the Power Running teams? Build strong D-Linemen including the DE's and strong LB's. This will help to bring those Power backs down with one person. The only catch is you can only focus on one aspect at a time when building. So while your building a dominent run stopping team, you are gonna vulnerable to the pass happy teams. But thats the chance ya take
