There may already be a post about this, but i was thinking if we had a depth chart for specific formations on offense it would allow us to use certain personnel in each formation rather than being forced to use the same guys for everyone but the GL formation. It doesnt have to be every formation, but rather just the 2wide, 3wide, and 4wide. The 2TE and 5wide could just pull from the default, like the 5-2 defense pulls from the default.

I believe the reasoning behind not having this is it would be too easy to exploit certain plays like sweeps and screens. I do agree that this would be a great addition, however I think the issue now is offense is already much more balanced than defense currently so I doubt they will add a change like this and tip the scales anymore than they already are

That was a big problem in GLB1, where you could put in running QBs in every formation you liked.

Thanks guys. Was just a thought but it makes sense why we don't have it. Just feels like you have so little control on offense, but I'll just continue to work around it the best i can. Thanks for the quick feedback.

We should be able to have different players play in different formations much like we are allowed to do on the defensive side of the ball would really help balance teams a whole lot
