Anybody thought about using power, north/south or combo?

This is my returner on North/South. Agaisnt a higher tier team. Still some issues with finding his way between blockers but he doesn't run out of bounds, unless absolutely cornered. He doesn't hesitate nearly as much when running between groups of blocking interactions, and is much more likely to kick it into high gear and run forward

Updated. Only thing is now he doesn't have nearly as much success breaking a punt return open, since before he relied on Juking out the first defenders and running through an opening if everyone else was blocked. North/South Penalty to Elusive running makes him much less likely to juke, though it still does fire.

Edit: Actually seems to help punt returns if he can whiff a tackle or two

Well here's a great example from a playoff game today....

Talk about a clear path to go north/south and take it home. Wow.

Your numbers in return awareness and carry awareness would be interesting.

I think it is like in GLB1, you cant choose the highest elsuvie running tactics for a player from the first day.

My opinion is, that it would be kind of stupid to have returners taking always the right path and stepping out of bounds at the perfect spot from the very beginning of their career. Why would you be required to invest in awareness then?

btw, I dont see your 'clear path' to the endzone. Less than 5 yards down the field you had a defender...

Did you even watch that? Look at tic 154

I was being a bit dramatic on the "clear path" but had he just turned it up hill at tick 155.5 he would have been MUCH more likely to take it home then he was at tick 180 where he salsa danced in place then headed to the sideline.

As for awareness, 56 return/48 carry.
