It would also make recruiting more difficult, which is already one of if not the biggest barriers to team ownership and competitiveness.

Being on an uncompetitive, human owned team that's filled with CPU players isn't going to be a much better experience than being on a CPU owned team that's mostly filled with human players.

but new team creation = new player creation

it's all win-win

Recruiting is always going to be a beast that will kill some teams, but limiting the teams the way GLB2 has is only restricting the size of the game, imo.

Oh, yeah no doubt. But then people who aren't having much success recruiting are going to have an even more difficult time recruiting.

We tried the "let anyone own as many teams as they want" thing with GLB Classic, and it resulted in most teams being unable to come anywhere close to filling their rosters and the majority of teams not being remotely competitive.

I mean, I've been giving CPU teams in human leagues to users upon request, but we already have a case study of flooding the market with teams.

Owning more than 2 or 3 teams shouldn't be allowed, especially if some sort of mechanism is built in to ensure the owners are in it for the long-term.

I kinda wish I didn't give up 2 of my 3 teams, mostly cause the two owners I gave the teams to, that wanted them, went inactive soon after. I just got the second this season cause the guy who owned it didn't want it. I'll let you know how difficult recruiting goes once i'm actually in it.

I agree with owning two team until we get more people on to this game. I feel that creating a commercial for the Super Bowl should be a big deal or sometime during the playoffs for the NFL

1) Millions of dollars to run a commercial and that stage.

2) Let's say Bort is Scroog McDuck and has all the money he needs, puts a few commercials on a nationally syndicated sports game like the Super Bowl. You will get millions of people just going to the site, creating players, teams, etc. This will clog the system. The game and servers are not capable of handling that large of an individual player base all at one time. You have to put a good amount of money into the servers which are not cheap and have to structure the game to handle that amount of agents.

3) You would have to hire several more admins, find dozens of more MOD's.

4) Most importantly, this game is in beta. There is a lot to be done. The last thing you'd want is to have a million people saying a lot of negative things. The best way for this game to survive is growing slowly while fixing/adding/debugging the game as you go.

Very true i understand how much marketing cost my guy and im throwing out ideas. Im sure they are putting effort into doing things to improve this great game. I myself am doing things as well. But we def need to have the ability to own more teams because there are just too many cpus leagues9
