WIN LOSS TIE
Live Oak Eagles 6 0 0
Inner City 5 1 0
Tampa Bay 4 1 1
Philadelphia 4 2 0
Olaf's 4 2 0
Las Vegas 3 2 1
BBBG 2 4 0
Newcastle 2 4 0
The Farts 2 4 0
Sunday 1 5 0
Pain Nation 1 5 0
Tecmo Bowl 1 5 0
Just a little breakdown of all divisions together. Looks like Inner City has the "inner track" to run away with this league unless someone can shut down that running game. Why not the Eagles? Read on.
Tampa Bay got edged by Philadelphia today which flipped these rankings up a bit and counts as Philadelphia's first league win against a team with a winning record, so that puts them on the map. Tampa hasn't lost their teeth though, and an admission by DeeVee8 that he hasn't been game planning as hard as he could have been may result in a redoubled effort to dominate the league.
Olaf started off the season playing Inner City and Tampa Bay and lost convincingly to both teams. Has their passing offense woken up enough to take on the top tier opponents in the league? The proof is in the pudding as Olaf has yet to play many of the middle tier opponents. Upcoming game against the Fart's will say a lot.
The Eagles sport an impressive 6-0 record, albeit against the entire lower half of the league, and some of those games were too close for comfort. So we'll see if that momentum keeps up or if they hit a snag with the higher tier opponents. The Eagles hit the grinder facing Tampa Bay on the 18th, Olaf on the 21st, Philadelphia on the 24th, and Inner City on the 27th. How this turns out is anyone's guess, but we know the Eagles have a fighters chance in every one of these games.
So let's hear it... what are your "way too early" predictions? Who do you think will be the surprise playoff contender? What two teams will play in the championship? Who turns their fate around and finishes with a winning record?
