even though the championship game is done I am getting this error.... will it clear tomorrow or not til a few days down the line?
Forum > FAQ's, Player Guides and Game Help > "cannot sign while in playoffs"... when will this clear?

It'll clear at rollover.....
Its not new this year been that way for a while. The season works in 3 day "sets" a league game,ladder game, and day off.
