No I didnt missed that, I thought it was a joke... GLB is free to play, your concept would change that completely. Maybe for GLB3 or later, but I dont think that will ever happen on GLB2.

At that point, why would someone want multiple accounts other than to own more than one team? If the reason someone wants multiple accounts (other than to exploit the free player) is to own a second team, then it seems like it would make sense to relax the multiple team restriction than to allow multiple accounts, but that's just me. Maybe I'm missing some other legitimate reason why someone would want multiple accounts.
