Thanks, GG. I also don't understand coverage, which is why I just blitz and hope to start a morale situation. Luckily for us, it has worked fairly consistently. Unfortunately for us, The Boogie Men don't pass.

well tbh we gameplanned specifically to beat that pass rush but unfortunately our O line and qb could not hold up as well as a few other teams that did well vs you guys with the strat we went with. anyway gj and gl

Well, tbh, the two games we lost in the last couple weeks I had still been trying to find a usable 5 or 6 man blitz, and I recently decided that all that was doing was giving QB's more time to find holes in our zones, which is what happened in those games. I'm not proud to win spamming mostly one defensive play, but even with our guys fully built to play zone pass coverage, it is really, really sketchy.

Basically, if we don't force a pass early, we're going to give up a long pass. Possibly a wide open one due to a safety choosing one receiver cause the underneath coverage has the other, but then the underneath guys notice "woah woah woah, that guy is running past where I'm allowed to be, better let him go" type situations.
