The irrefutable four may have been slightly predictable once the season reach the half-way mark, but the outcome couldn't be better for anyone who loves to watch GLB—assuming, of course, that person's team wasn't knocked out. Parity wasn't the name of the game in this league, but if this sort of playoff atmosphere is the result, sign me up for more of it.
Minnesota Stunners vs LUELinks LUEshis
The LUELinks LUEshis head to Minnesota, where the Stunners have been nigh unbeatable and haven't skip a beat in their truly impenetrable aura. The anxiety before this game will be pulsing, and it will take everything for LUEshis to make-way to their second championship game- And this hasn't came to past since season 2.
The LUELinks were destroyed by Minnesota last week, and there is no where near enough skill points to make a difference in the team now. With Jimbo Jumpback running the ball and the defense is a match-up nightmare for a LUEshis offense. It's hard for me to believe the game will end in anything less than another blow-out.
Minnesota advances to the Championship game using the same formula they been using all season.
1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers vs Pawnee Goddesses
The Nebraska Cornhuskers welcome the Pawnee Goddesses, a team that kind of limp their way into the play-off. Both teams are fresh from a championship last season in their respected leagues. I must say that seeing the Goddesses Owner go inactive is a bit concerning for me.
Right now, I think the Cornhuskers are the more physical team. They've eradicated Pawnee already and don't tend to shy away from big moments like this. I think viper gets it done again because he has the best running game maybe he's ever had featuring the star Damen Benning- And to add to that, the Goddesses defense isn't great. It's been good in the past or so but can still be had.
All signs seem to point to a Nebraska victory, with very little the Goddesses can do to stop this from happening.
