Ok - season is winding down. 5 more ladder games (I think).
#1 (66) Minnesota Stunners vs #12 Journeyman (63) Redmond Redskins (17-6)- Stunners face their likeliest toughest opponent ever. Stunners have won something like 16 in a row. Redmond is no joke - they've played and beaten some very tough teams and have the best rushing defense in the two involved leagues. A great opportunity for the Stunners to see where they are...but could be too much (even though the ladder ranks are very close)
#2 (91) Continentals 19-4 vs #111 Pro Sacramento Spartans 10-13 - 12th Knight posts that he's quitting the game after this season every chance he gets -- in every thread that even sort of pertains to his quitting. How much longer will they try? I don't know - but since they won't have to try very hard here -- I predict another Philly win.
#3 (97) LUELinks 20-3 vs #98 Journeyman Grass Valley Tunnel Trolls 10-12-1 -- LUE has been RED hot. The Trolls have lost to several seasoned teams this season already -- prepare to add 1 more. The virgins walk away with another win behind their high octane passing attack.
#4 (99) Drinkin 19-4 vs #87 Asbury Park Bishops 14-9 -- These teams met on July 27 and Asbury won by 4. Asbury has contained seasoned teams again and again. Can Stobie do enough to turn the tide and swing this game his way? I tend to think YES. Drinkin with another win.
#5 (99) Tampa Bay Tusken 18-5 vs #113 pro Sparta 1-22 -- Enjoy your easy win Tampa Bay
#6 (101) D'haran 17-6 vs #90 Pain Nation Midgets 9-14 -- When was the last time D'Haran was out of the top 5?? Maybe like early rookie? Pain Nation lost to VS earlier this season. But at the same time - teams in madison seem to have found the right defense for shutting down D'Haran. Will Pain Nation scout? Will they copy what has been working? I tend to think YES. D'Haran's slide toward #11 continues with a loss here
#7 (102) Victorious Secret 15-8 vs #93 Philadelphia Firefighters 11-11-1 Rough season for VS and they've been awfully quiet about it. This is a winnable game though and Alpine has won it twice. Should be plenty there to find a solid game plan. VS wins.
#8 (103) Nebraska 15-8 vs #115 Compton Con Men 15-8 - Nebraska does well vs seasoned teams. Nebraska wins again.
#9 (108) Alpine 14-9 vs #127 Dryden Blue Bells 13-10 -- Dryden owner has gone inactive -- and they are 4-6 in their last 10. Alpine keeps rolling - crushing the blue balls beneath their cheese encrusted fingers.
#10 (112) Rare Breed Rookies vs #125 Rhode Island - Rare Breed makes 4 teams from Adams currently in the top 10. Rare Breed won the earlier matchup --- Rare breed wins again.
