if teams are tied for the division lead at the end of the season, what is the tiebreaker?

dis can o' worms, she been reopened!

IIRC, it's H2H results next. If that's 1-1, then it's points allowed I think.

Haha, there were some fairly annoyed folks a couple seasons ago over the way the h2h stuff works. It will mess you up if you're in a 3way tie with someone outside the division too.

At this point Hillbilly would take it on points allowed. You're only a few points back so you just need to win the next two and allow 8 less points in the process.

It is tiebreaker time, baby!

I finally want to see a 3+ intradivision tie, where no team from one division makes it to the playoffs. It is possible!

And yes, two team tiebreaker: Head-to-Head --> points allowed --> ??? (Bort said points for)

btw, this is one of the threads dealing with tiebreakers and bugs in tiebreaker from last season: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5135060?page=1

It would be so much easier to explain to people if the game used NFL tiebreakers. Yes, you could skip the head-to-head with common opponents because that's built in to the league schedule. But best record within the division should be the first tie breaker. And it shouldn't just be points allowed, but combined points allowed/scored ranking within the division (because points allowed is heavily, heavily skewed to favor ball control running teams that don't give up points, but don't score much either).

But hey, given just how many other things aren't working right, this prolly isn't even on the agenda for the next six seasons.

The first and most important things that has to be done, is to determine the division winners first. Currently all ties get broken at the same time.
