Yes, I would frequently sub. You have a rookie team, so conditioning is probably low.

And rookie passing sucks ass from what i've experienced should I have just focused my line on run block and ran 100% since all the good rookie teams only run it looks like.

You will have more success leaning towards rushing at this stage yes. You can always respec your players after the season if you want to change things up. Try looking at the top teams in the ladder and see what plays they are using to get a feel for what plays work at this level.

I'm looking to reset my team to rookie and put together an exclusively passing team modeled after Air Raid, LogZilla, etc. We'll have several S* guys on the roster and I'd like to not suck in rookie and have to endure 20 sack games so here's my question:

1) What attributes should I focus on having near-max caps for? This build: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/102893 is the best I could come up with as a test build (replacing Strong Base with Superstar of course). How high should conditioning be on a QB?

2) Has anyone experimented with power running WR's? Is that a viable option or should I just stick with Speedster/Slot Receiver/Shifty?

3) Are S* OT's worth the extra salary or could that S* point be better used as a DT?

Appreciate the help, I'll take any guidance a can get!

P.S. I checked out Xars' previous posts about what attributes to invest in first to have success in rookie, so I'll probably follow his plan on that.

Passing in Rookie is about builds and play calling. The play calling is most important IMO.

And if you're going all pass then a S* QB is practically required.

Because you're going all pass, I don't think you'll need S* OLine.

You don't need a S* Oline for an all passing team, like Xars said.

On QB conditioning, I'd recommend 55+. With the probability that Trash Talk is going to be more heavily abused in future seasons, I'd also recommend a toughness cap that's at least 60 as well.

Thread locked by moderator.

Going to be the bad guy to lock this one down, same premise as when we locked down the 'Ask Nixx' thread from GLB1. Originally this had another purpose but it's been switched to purely a 'ask me a question and I'll answer it' thread.

Users are of course always welcome to threads to their heart's content for their game questions.
