Some general stuff that will help you evaluate your own guys better.

1. Match your SA's to your skills.

You get 2 out of 3 on this. Monster Hit matches up with Power Tackling, so good. Opportunist matches up with Strip Technique. Good again. Unstoppable Force, tho, wants more Hold Ground. Not good. But...

2. Decide what you want to be good at, and make everything fit that.

Monster Hit, Opportunist, Power Tackling, and Strip Technique. You're almost a fantastic middle linebacker who would make some D coordinator very happy. You'd be hiding behind the d-line who'd eat up blockers leaving you free to blast ball carriers in the middle and knock balls free. But what is up with that Unstoppable Force that doesn't match anything else you have? And you are a bit slow. Okay, more than a bit slow. To really get the most out of Monster Hit and Power Tackling, you need to have a head of steam.

3. Focus your SA's early.

Okay, let me begin by saying if you have a really definite plan, you can break this rule. But just picking up another SA every time you get a point is not just silly, it's counterproductive. You'd be much better off at this point with silver (level 2) Monster Hit. You'd be scarier for ball carriers, and you'd be well on your way to gold Monster Hit which can utterly ruin in a low heart back in just one shot, leaving them curled up under the bench for the rest of the game.

4. Talk to a D-coordinator before you make your defensive guys, and vice versa.

The guys you've posted are on CPU teams. Fine way to get to see the game basics, try out some stuff, etc. But if you really want to get into the game, you need to find a human team, and that means finding a team. Well, not sure if you've tried that out or not, but it's really hard for an already built player to find a team because you have to find a team that wants someone built like you. On the other hand, if you want to build a guy, and talk to a team about what they need, then you KNOW you're making someone that will fit what they want because they'll tell you.

5. Read the Teams Looking For Players board regularly.

This is prolly the current best way to find a team. Find a team that's looking for a guy, and PM the coaches of that team if you have one or are willing to make one. Not only will you maybe finally get on a human team, you're much more likely to get a good variety of feedback about the guys you are looking to get placed on a roster. I mean, I can tell you what I look for in LB's, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one with ideas on how to build and what works (although I do have to admit I'm far and away the smartest...it's a curse really).

On the flip side he could be a great OLB against a run team if built properly using that Unstoppable Force and possibly end up forcing the fumbles that way. Limited use and probably already missed the train on shed block instead of Opportunist but worth a mention.
