With Pro season getting close to half over, I am curious what are peoples thoughts on when to start replacing their toons at the high levels?

As it sits right now Pro toons have about ~27k SP left to receive before they hit Vet status. Once they hit vet status if they buy the boosters have 2 more full seasons at a stalemate of points.

At what point do you start replacing them and with what level of toons, do you bring in Journeyman players or Pro players? Do you bring in half of the team each season or do you break it up by thirds...

What's your thoughts?

Planning to do a full vet replacement on Air Raid in the future, but with chemistry how it is, might be smarter to replace with fresh pros, and eat that low chemistry season to be basically fresh the entire vet campaign.

Sort of my thoughts but then also factored in splitting across 2 seasons were indended backups go one season and then they will be close to 80-100% chem for vet and then swap next wave and flip who starters are.

That way only half the team hits chem, but then you get into the never ending cycle of half of your team at crippled chem.

It depends on if you think you can compete with that philosophy of maybe weak early in the season and more powerful towards the end each season or take a dive a season to put your chips in the pot for the next.

I'm eyeing resetting completely at life-end instead of trying to maintain with new dots. I could probably structure dot creation in such a way that it's a non-issue, but for me that'd be too many dots to take care of.

A downfall of running a team by yourself I guess.

The road back to the top isn't so bad in GLB2, unlike in GLB1. After 4 seasons, you are going to be competitive with the 5+ season teams anyway (SP point differences aren't going to be that major, SAs is the only thing lacking).

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it 4 full seasons in VET if all boosters are purchased?

30 Automatically just because
15 Games x 4 (60 Games) for purchasing all the career boosts
15 Games from purchasing all 12 sp boosts
15 games from purchasing all 3 AP boosts

Anyway reading Bort's FAQ "Once your player reaches level 25, he remains at level 25 for 1 additional season (30 games). You can add up to 3 additional seasons' worth of games (90 more) at level 25 by buying the appropriate boosts."

Thats 120 games = 4 seasons

I thought I have two more seasons after this year before I have to buy anything else?
