miami was a tough draw

Yeah Braska was tough back then, I always liked Nebraska! I had played Center and Linebacker in High School before converting to fullback in JUCO. Jake Young was my idol

Miami was tough Issac was open all day though. Our starting QB broke is leg versus Ole Miss he was 6'4 with a gun. Our backup only got the ball to Issac for 2 Tds they couldn't cover him!!

That QB looks slow as molasses....what is his speed?

feel like channeling my inner xavori here: "But it was a tackle for loss 2 out of 3 times! A play that is tackled for a loss 67% is absolutely not overpowered"

edit: (this comment is not meant as a shot at boldtroll - just having fun flashing back to those forum battles last season)

No problem TxSteve but in this case its true GL QB sweep play, its hardly overpowered any more with these kinds of results! Braska runs similar plays with the GL HB Sweep and HB Counters with the same kind of outcome, sometimes you break them open sometimes you do not. QB Rollouts are part of the game and they are no more of an advantage than any other play. Just like your other toss sweep plays and counters when executed break open. You have to build your team to run these plays as we have had to build our team to run the QB. If you ran this play often and part of your offense as we do you would not be as successful especially having just ONE Qb on your team. The pounding he would take would make him fumble often, lower his morale and conditioning making him even less effective when you want to throw. We have to have two QBs which is one of several consolations that have to be made to run the QB in GLB. Run the Strong I Qb rollout and see what kind of success rate you have with it.

I think at this point its more of he's a 10 speed and should never score on this play if we had backs with 10 speed im fairly confident we wouldnt gain yardage on toss plays more than once a game. now this is not a shot at you or even the logic as its been untested. (though with cross on the stunners it was almost tested until steve advised me otherwise

No offense taken Viper

Speed is 10 is contributes to the tackle for loss plays. Like I said run the Strong I QB rollout and run the QB 10-15 times a game and see how your team fairs would be interesting to see!

When its all said and done you can see on my team I have TWO Qbs, one averages 8 yards a carry the other 2.8 and one is more efficient passer than the other, its in the build.

what actually happened on that play is Benning sent a team text that if anyone were to touch Armstrong.....they would be forced to meet him one on one 10 times in a row. Final result...Armstrong walks into end zone
