It does. Based on what plays you choose from 52, you'd like to have the option to put who goes where like the rest of the D formations. If I say, blitz the MLB, I'd prefer to throw in my pure blitzing LB rather then my HH MLB.

Yeah I see what you mean, it would be the most sense for there to be a specific 5-2 depth chart like there is for every other formation. A possible work-around might be that since there is a specific depth chart for all the other formations, you could just set all of those how you want them and then use the overall default depth chart as if it was the 5-2 depth chart. (since all the other formations would be working off their specific depth charts that you've already set and not the overall default one).

The only specific reason you would need a specific depth chart is for the extra DT. (if it goes off the basic chart)

And because you might want specific LBs in place for that formation.

You can already do that through the generic chart. Every other formation has a chart except 5-2 so the generic works as its own chart. But for the extra DT you are boned.
