Its Write up time again people and with 1 regular season game and 1 ladder game down things are starting to clear up abit.....actually i lie things are still unclear apart from the fact that Alpha is the strongest and Beta the weakest.

Game of the Week
LogZilla Boys vs Akron Dawgs
Yes its my team im picking for game of the week but the system is picking it to! No but in all seriousness the Boys have put together some nice results and this is the #1 offense vs #2 offense so expect fireworks. The deciding factor though is going to come down to Defense and which is better. Soryr boys but i just cant overlook my GM(/DC) Rob not having a game plan to shut you down. Boys 0-10 Dawgs

Montreal Blue Knights vs TT's Constellation Superstars
Early Season leaders in Alpha go head to head in this one. As mentioned before i believe that the Knights completely robbed the Quakes out of a win and dont see that happening again. TT's Offense although scoring points is still not hitting on al cylinders and part of that will be down to 'rookie ball' but also some changes will have to be made as they cant rely on the running game to get them out of a hole. That said though TT should be way to powerful on offense and Defense to let the Knights steal another one. Knights 7-23 TT

Rancho Cucamonga Quakes vs ENMU GreyHounds
Poor Quakes. After being robbed of a win last week they know have to take on another Alpha powerhouse in ENMU. Solely looking at Matchup stats the Quakes have an advantage all over the park and will also be looking for there first in division win. The same could be said for ENMU though and this one was a close call for my game of the week so expect fireworks in this one. However Karma has a way of working itself out and i believe that this will be decided by a missed kick. Quakes 9-10 ENMU

Foldy McFoldFolds vs Morbegno Seahawks
Can i say disappointing without referring to the Seahawks....nope these guys have been a letdown and if it wasnt for the fact that Foldy are even worse the Seahawks could be coming up against another loss to a CPU team. This time they escape though. Foldy 14-17 Seahawks

System Of A Touchdown vs Band of Brothers
Can the Brother pull of another huge upset! Nope not really there time in the spotlight has come and gone System congratz on finding your way to the playoffs by being in a ridiculous division. System 30-13 Brothers

Woof Woof vs Milwaukee Beers
After a loss last week to one of the better teams (*cough* couldnt resist) its the Beers turn to have their way with Gamma's whipping boys. What a better way to get your first division win than by thrashing someone? You cant and this one will be how the Beers get their season started. Woof 0-41 Beers

Sorry its a bit shorter today but am doing this in a rush. Enjoy.

Looks like Bort turned on the passing taps. I was starting to wonder why I bothered recruiting so many passing game S*s until this game. In the huddle before the game I overheard Ringo telling Draco to get his shovel, because we were going to bury these guys so deep nobody was ever going to find them.

Then Ringo finds Draco for 20 receptions in a single game for 228 yards and 3 TDs.

Not to be left out, the Punter decides to get in on the burying action by landing 3 coffin corners for 3 safeties.

It was an early morning game after having played a ladder and some scrims the night before, but I'm wondering if the Montreal Blue Knights weren't out too late with those infamous Montreal Strippers (touching is okay) and maybe caught a bad case of Montreal Blue Balls?

I would like to point out that LogZilla Boys have now beaten the following teams:

Akron Dawgs
Casino Dogs
Woof Woof

...which makes me wonder whether I need to be calling the SPCA on Xars?

Lets get this ugliness out of the way

Game of the Week
LogZilla Boys vs Akron Dawgs
I was completely wrong on this one. The Dawgs had no answer to the Boys offense and then their own offense completely crapped itself. This turned out to be a one way game and by the 4th quarter it looked like the Dawgs couldnt hold on anymore. This will have hurt the Dawgs (trust me on that one) and will be licking their wounds after that one. Boys 31-3 Dawgs

Montreal Blue Knights vs TT's Constellation Superstars
Well that long overdue passing attack that we have all been waiting for finally showed up. This passing performance has put the whole league in a scared little corner that wont come out until TT decide to play fair. This one would have hurt the Knights but when you have no answer for the pass....well you get it with the scoreline. Knights 0-48 TT

Rancho Cucamonga Quakes vs ENMU GreyHounds
Two teams fighting over what could be 2nd place in Alpha. This was a close affair with each team not completely outshining the other. in the end though it came down to the better average per play on both the ground and passing game which helped ENMU edge this one out. Quakes 7-14 ENMU

Foldy McFoldFolds vs Morbegno Seahawks
In a game that both teams couldnt run the ball and passing was the name of the game the Seahawks manage to pull this one out of the hat and can sorta forget about last games disappointment. Foldy 3-13 Seahawks

System Of A Touchdown vs Band of Brothers
I had system winning by a bit more but i guess a win is a win. Brothers seem to be able to pull out the big yards agains the Beta rivals and this could have easily gone their way. System 13-6 Brothers

Woof Woof vs Milwaukee Beers
Another shock result and another CPU win. Looks like the Beers really need alot of help on that O-Line as it seems tha any team that wants to blitz will have their way with the Beers QB. Another hurtful loss for the Beers and now they have to take on Gamma's leaders in the Boys. 0-3 doesnt look like a good start for a team that couldve done so well. Woof 10-3 Beers

Yup, I wanted to run the exact opposite O as my last team.

My last O-line had a combined 160+ skill points into Run Block Tech and Run Block Power. My HBs were both Power Thru up the gut builds.

Since I already had all of the HB running achievements, I figured it was time to run a team that could pass the ball.
