I thought i'd do a little breakdown pre-season. It is meant to be a bit of fun, if i offend anyone i am incredibly sorry

Alpha
Oregon Bulldawgs - 7 HUman controled players...will need to do some SERIOUS recruting in order to be competative.
Verdict - Bulldawgs are put down for being a danger to themselves and others around them unless serious changes are made

Minnesota Golden Lizards - 2 (TWO) human controlled players...please see above
Verdict - Unless something amazing happens recruitment wise they will be more Golden shower than golden lizards

Wesley Chappel Warriors - Alpha champions by midway through the season. Have more GM's than other teams in Alpha have players
Verdict - Will be the ultimate warriors this season (see what i did there!! )

Maine Blue Jays - a full CPU roster at time of writing there certainly seems to be a shortage of rookie dots, there will need to be alot created to make Alpha competative.
Verdict - These Blue jays are blue for a reason....they're dead

Beta
The group of death without question!!
Blitzkrieg Panthers - 4 S*'s (3 on offense, 1 on D), dots made by agents you will recognise, this will be a tough team to beat!
Verdict - will finish in the top 3-4 in this division...i'm edging my bets

Flawless Victory - Looks like the owner considered building all dots himself but ran out of funds...will likely be the Beta whipping boys
Verdict - Flawless Defeats...six of them...in divisional games

Roman Testudo - 4 offensive S*'s again agents that are recognisable from the forums, another tough team in Gamma...the italian Tortoise is my pick for the Beta championship
Verdict - Tortoises sprint to victory

North Conway RiverMonsters - a 2 agent team which is dangerous if they build to their game plan, will be fighting the panthers for the #2 spot and likely wildcard spot...my bet is they will lose that fight.
Verdict - Panthers to slaughter RiverMonsters in a race to the finish...

Gamma
Orlando Slugs - 4 human players currently on the roster...oh i had a sudden feeling of Deja Vu...will need to seriously recruit to be taken seriously
Verdict - The Slugs are beaten by a pot of salt...and the other teams who have a full roster

Oklahoma City Warriors - no human players, not very warriorish...
Verdict - Warriors are beaten...by human teams and will battle it out with other CPU based teams to finish last

Houston Cuckholders Sad Man - Another team wil no (none, zero, zip, nadda) human players
Verdict - 3 for 3 in Gamma are CPU player heavy...enough said

Phuket Nightwalkers - Mostly a single agent team (me), with a few S*'s submitted by kind other parties. Currently 4 S*'s, all on offense...and a full roster...have drawn the short straw and ended up in the weakest division (although Alpha was a close second).
Verdict - if we dont win this division i will fold this team...and cry...assuming nothing dramatic happens of course!!

Playoffs will be;

Wesley Chapel Warriors
Roman Testudo
Phuket Nightwalkers
Wild Card - Blitzkrieg Panthers

I'm not predicting any further than that because my crystal balls are broken

It was fairly depressing to realise just how weak some of the teams are though!!

I'm offended that you think it will take half a season for WCW to lock up the division...

Seriously, nice write up, I was planning on doing... The exact same thing sometime tomorrow. This is about what I think for most teams, too

I live for tough division

Great Write up.

Most interesting period I think will be the first 3 games which is a mini-lottery until player builds take shape.

On the other hand I also think the new rules should throw in a few wrinkles not everyone is prepared for.

So a rookie question, why would it matter so much who has more human players, do the cpus not improve their skill pts during the season, only human players do ? cause everyone is pretty much the same tier and level for the most part, all R's

this is my first year so just wondering,

the cpus just arent as good as humans. wont ever be. a rookie team full of fresh humans can be a sophmore team full of cpus. while yes their skills do increase they dont increase like a humans players do. You also can have the scheme set up so scuctured with cpus as you can set a structure up and build the playes around it with humans

CPUs literally put all their points in at random. Complete randomness. A CPU DT puts points in jumping sometimes, a CPU CB puts points in power pass rush sometimes. CPU players are, unfortunately, useless.
