Mars improved this season - some good introductions that, for most of us, would make it a competitive League, but the top 2 are waaaaay ahead of the rest of us, so it sorta sucks in one way, but it's a helluva challenge in another.

All four journyman leagues kinda look like that with 2-3 teams that based on previous history look to be way better than the entire rest of the league. But, it's always risky making those kinds of predictions since as we're down to just 4 leagues, all the good FA's on teams that went away are going to be heading somewhere...

It's prolly the Loungers' faults. We keep crushing the hopes and dreams of the teams of mere mortals...

Its not that unusual to see the leagues cull down moving forward. Worked the same way in GLB1.

It is gonna happen a lot with the changes to the game and stuff along the way. After awhile we will get 3+ seasons into Veteran level and people will start filling up the ranks.

There's always the culture of "I'm not tracking upwards or at the top of the game so I need to reset/start over/do something different" (merge, rehaul, etc.) in online games as well. You can't ignore that. People are largely playing to win or be the best.

Exactly the reason teams like Maine went bye bye. They were on a downward path and excuse a, b, c are laid out but the real reason for selling is because they were tracking downwards.

It's also like expensive to keep the teams.

My EB team probably went a season too long, but I'm happy to be starting over this season. More superstars, hopefully fewer SA mistakes (like chase down instead of... a good SA).
