Yeah, I thought about pump fake and HTH but zone defense isn't that great so it seems like Pump fake wouldn't be that useful. I like home town hero, but it's hard to tell if it's any better than some of the other options.

I took On the run to the first star and I didn't really see it fire all that often on my S* pocket QB. Maybe I just need to take it higher to get the real effect

OTR is powered by pocket awareness too. Don't take it if your not going to put at least 50+ pocket awareness or so.

quick read can fire every tick, therefore even bronze is likely to fire at some point in most pass attempts. OTR's fire chance can only occur at one point in a play, the moment you throw, assuming the QB isn't stationary.

I think you and I have watched Matt Ryan running from D-lineman a few two many times because you have a point, but not enough of a point to where I agree with you.

The only realistic way of stopping passing is with C2 or C3. Both of which has 2-3 players in zone. You can't begin to make an argument to me that Pump Fake isn't infinitely more worth it than HTH for a QB.

I think QB's are much better off diversifying in this game than just 3 starring 2 abilities like every other joe position.

Too many situationally advantageous skills (On The Run, Pump Fake, Quick Read, Clock Manager, Brace For Impact) that come up often with decent bonuses and too many strong AP-to-SP value skills otherwise (HTH, RW, Scnd Wind)

Quick Read 3 is the only one I'd say is actually worth the 3 points and even then I don't know. Level 2 Home Town Hero is equivalent to ~3500 SP's at my current level and that only scales up.

eh, disagree. I like my APs to give stuff that can't be got through SP expenditure. If I want more heart and toughness, I can get more heart and toughness. QR, PF, and OTR all give you the ability to do things you otherwise cannot.

Doesn't that still cost points?

skill points. You can't spend enough skill points to produce a pump fake though.
