Move over Adams, Madison now the toughest league
Forum > Goal Line Blitz 2 > Sophomore Season 4 Ladder Finale
Welcome to seasoned Sophomores. I didn't get a chance to see the final ladder rankings before the quitters were removed - but I believe Yorick did drop out of the top 5 before closing up shop.
Remember how Xav used to always claim that HE forced DD 2.0 to rest because HE just made it to tough for them? Well congratulations to all of us - we can all (and should all) now constantly claim from now until forever that WE were just too good and that is why Yorick had to fold....
But without further ado - We are down to 56 Seasoned Teams. We should now have the new ladder matchup code -- so there will be plenty of games versus Journeyman teams....
1 Minnesota Stunners (Global 96) Adams League
2 Victorious Secret (Glo: 104) Madison League
3 D'Haran Empire (Global : 106) Madison League
4 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers (Glo: 107) Adams League
5 Philadelphia Continentals (Glo: 109) Wilson League
6 Alpine Affineurs (Global : 110) Madison League
7 Rhode Island Falcons (Glo: 113) Madison League
8 Tampa Bay Tuskenraiders (Glo: 114) Eisenhower League
9 Gatling Valley Pirates (Glo: 114) Eisenhower League
10 Drinkin Hellraisers (Glo: 116) Monroe League
Will be interesting to see what happens in Madison. With 4 top 10 teams - if 1 team dominates - they'll likely sky rocket to the top of the ladder. But if they beat each other up a bunch - it could be good for the rest of us. Time will tell! Could very well be an Alpine / VS league matchup week 1.

Definite high marks for that dig. The French judge and the Russian judge made a backroom deal that kept out of the finals tho.
Alas poor Yorick, I knew thee well...

No. I really did like it. It made me chuckle.
Besides, at the end of the day, it was Corny, not the rest of you mere mortals that killed Yorick. Well, that and Yorick almost didn't survive after rookie season since Sar wasn't getting anywhere near enough trash talking opportunities to justify his paying for the team. Then the whole QB Rollout thing happened, Yorick won a game with only 69 yards offense, and he ended up getting his money's worth

Correct, the Continentals win over the Huskers was just enough to nick us the 5 spot. Sorry Xav.
